We did it!  You all gave, and we broke through our goal of $200 and raised a total of $230 to fight pediatric cancer!  I played games for 24 hours straight, and I have to say, it was the most fun I’ve ever had raising money for a charity.  It beat the crap out of washing cars, or aimless walking.

OK, here’s a rundown of the day’s events.  I Started on my PC, playing Dawn of War 2, Red Faction: Guerilla, and Warhammer Online.  That was only 3 games, but it added up to about 6 straight hours.  Then I switched over to my consoles and played Uncharted, Guitar Hero 5, Trials HD, Assassin’s Creed, Monkey Island, PixelJunk Monsters, and Beatles: Rock Band.  I got 13 Xbox Achievements and 10 Playstation Trophies.  Sarah even came over and played some LittleBigPlanet and Beatles: Rock Band with me, but I was starting to get tired, and cranky, and LittleBigPlanet was getting so frustrating!  By this time, it was about 3AM, and I was starting to get a little loopy.  I finished off by playing even more Uncharted and Warhammer Online.  I watched the final minutes countdown while killing random creatures with my Dark Elf Sorcerer (you know, just how every normal person’s day ends).  By 8:00, I sent out a final tweet, shut my eyes, and drifted to sleep. It was quite the experience, too bad I can’t do that sort of thing more often.  Anyone out there want to bump Extra Life to be a quarterly charity rather than a yearly one?
